Letter 10:
An Aspect of His War Room
November 13, 2023
A letter to the mature in Christ Jesus, as ones who may be called to enter into a war room of His choosing.
The Lord shows me a war room in the spirit, and He goes into this room as a Warrior King with His face painted as one going in stealth to confront His enemies. The room is like a room of intelligence and reconnaissance. One that is dark, shrouded in secret and undercover. One where secret travesties are exposed, and all that is witnessed in darkness and discussed cannot be spoken of, as scripture prescribes that it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in darkness and secret (Ephesians 5:12).
So what then is a purpose for this room? Consider first this passage of scripture:
Genesis 18:16,33 AMP
Then the men got up from there, and looked toward Sodom; and Abraham walked with them to send them on their way. The Lord said, “Shall I keep secret from Abraham [My friend and servant] what I am going to do, since Abraham is destined to become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed through him? For I have known (chosen, acknowledged) him [as My own], so that he may teach and command his children and [the sons of] his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is righteous and just, so that the Lord may bring upon Abraham what He has promised.” And the Lord said, “The outcry [of the sin] of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is exceedingly grave. I will go down now, and see whether they have acted [as vilely and wickedly] as the outcry which has come to Me [indicated]; and if not, I will know.”
Now the [two] men (angelic beings) turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord. Abraham approached [the Lord] and said, “Will You really sweep away the righteous (those who do right) with the wicked (those who do evil)? Suppose there are fifty righteous [people] within the city; will You really sweep it away and not spare it for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it? Far be it from you to do such a thing–to strike the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right [by executing just and righteous judgment]?” So the Lord said, “If I find within the city of Sodom fifty righteous [people], then I will spare the entire place for their sake.” Abraham answered, “Now behold, I who am but dust [in origin] and ashes have decided to speak to the Lord. If five of the fifty righteous are lacking, will You destroy the entire city for lack of five?” And He said, “If I find [at least] forty-five [righteous people] there, I will not destroy it.” Abraham spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose [only] forty are found there.” And He said, “I will not do it for the sake of the forty [who are righteous].” Then Abraham said [to Him], “Oh, may the Lord not be angry, and I will speak; suppose thirty [righteous people] are found there?” And He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.” And he said, “Now behold, I have decided to speak to the Lord [again]. Suppose [only] twenty [righteous people] are found there?” And the Lord said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the twenty.” Then Abraham said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry [with me], and I will speak only this once; suppose ten [righteous people] are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”
As soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham the Lord departed, and Abraham returned to his own place.
If we continue to read the scriptures that follow the above, we will see that God was not able to spare the city of judgment, but He did still by angelic intervention deliver the few righteous who did remain. Can God not unscramble the situations and behaviors that mankind scrambles? He and He alone is able.
Yet, the Lord God will see to it that He is an eye witness to all the cries that ring forth into His ears. For He is righteous and the Lord God of all the earth will do rightly as Judge in executing judgment. Although Abraham did not understand this. For six times did Abraham entreat the Lord to show mercy to the plight that awaited Sodom and Gomorrah, and six times did the Lord show mercy in lowering acceptable standards of behavior towards mankind in demonstration of His mercy. But His war room is for the time He is moved to rightly execute judgment. For will we suppose that the perpetrators of evil on the earth receive greater measures of mercy than their victims? Will we presume upon the mercies of God for those who don’t merit it by rejecting His mercies on every turn? For we must remember that the Lord has appointed all authority in the earth, and that He faithfully raises up in our midst ministers of justice who carry the sword for a purpose; that they might be ones to execute His justice in the earth as it is written:
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but for conscience’ sake (Romans 13:1-5 NKJV).
As pertains to those who practice evil habitually, the war room is for the purpose of the Lord riding forth in judgment to carry out vengeance on the earth against His enemies. Predominantly enemies in the heavenly realms, but also the enemies that are in the earth. Enemies who refuse on every level to accept the mercies of the Lord. For can we not trust that He only executes judgment as a last resort? Can we not trust that when God says it is enough, that it is truly enough? This war room is for the ones who must enter into the judgments of the Lord over issues that He presents, trusting that He and He alone knows what is right in the situation. It’s a room where we who are given rulership in the earth on His behalf entreat Him to come and do what is right.
For how long will the cries of the innocent go unanswered because we have more care and concern for grace landing upon the offender? And how long will the innocent be held captive, be murdered, mutilated, raped and suffer all manners of abuse, while the righteous Judge of the earth is held back to do nothing? Will the church blacken the name of the Lord in seeing that He is forbidden from hastening to rescue those who rightly cry to Him for help with their endless praying that God only ever shows mercy? For His justice is perfect, and He needs no man to assist Him in how He is to measure it out. For God knows how to deal with both the wicked and the oppressed rightly, and we must never assume that He is not able to accomplish this work though it is an impossibility for us to accomplish while keeping our hands clean of guilt. It is something too great that we will never fully know, but this war room gives Jesus place to enter the earth as Warrior King. It gives Him headship over His ministers of justice, being Himself the one who sits on a throne that is founded upon justice. As it is written in Psalm 89:14, “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne (NKJV).”
For this reason this room is held closed to those who might think they know what it is that God must do. For no man can know the secret things of the Lord unless He reveals it, and no man can know the condition of the human hearts of those who are involved except the Lord. So no man can go into this room for any other purpose than to pray that the Lord do all He wills to do in every circumstance He chooses to reveal. For it is His will to answer the cries of the innocent, the abused and the oppressed. It is His will to go forth as the rescuer of the afflicted. It is His will that justice would not be held back endlessly and needlessly.
For one part of the church would suppose that Jesus is a lair. For when His word says the wages of sin is death, they believe and tell others He turns a blind eye to habitual sinning on account of grace. And they would say grace is meant to be consumed as an endless commodity, though we are strictly warned in scripture not to dishonor the blood of the Lord which has washed us clean that we might live holy and rightly with Him. As is written in Hebrews 10:26,29:
For if we go on willfully and deliberately sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice [to atone] for our sins [that is, no further offering to anticipate], but a kind of awful and terrifying expectation of [divine] judgment and the fury of a fire and burning wrath which will consume the adversaries [those who put themselves in opposition to God]. Anyone who has ignored and set aside the Law of Moses is put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much greater punishment do we think he will deserve who has rejected and trampled under foot the Son of God, and has considered unclean and common the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and has insulted the Spirit of grace [who imparts the unmerited favor and blessing of God] (AMP)?
While another part of the church would say the Lord only executes judgment without any shred of mercy present. Thinking He enjoys smashing His creation to pieces, and forgetting that He desires mercy over judgment. As they take all the judgments of God recorded in the Bible and use it wrongly as a portrait of His character. In doing so they forget the most principal fact of God’s heart. The fact that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever would believe in Him would not perish but would have everlasting life (John 3:16). God sent His Son to redeem fallen mankind, not to extinguish him.
On account of this, the war room is for the mature and for those who are balanced in doctrine. They are for those who would not assume to have the wisdom of God, and for those who would say to the Lord, “Whatever you desire to do to rectify this situation, Lord you must do.” For we must understand that to enter into this war room, all lofty efforts of mercy have passed, and justice and judgment are all that remains to be measured out.
So if the Lord does not ask you to go in, I pray that you do not. For why would you want the blood of another on your hands if your conscience cannot bear the weight of the responsibility of the room? Can you witness with Him the mass sufferings and injustices against the innocent and not cry out for Him to respond in rage? Can you stuff your emotions and your logic aside and say to Him, “God I know nothing. Do all that is right in this situation that must be done.”? For surely some must be saved and surely some must be put to death, but how can we know? Do we know the hearts of men? Only God does, and He longs to rescue and ride swiftly to the cries of the innocent. He longs to enter into the blackest of situations as a thief in the night, with stealth and great vigilance. He longs to knock every Saul on the road to Damascus to the ground so that the wicked would be changed into Pauls, that the church would forever be transformed.
Yet because of the imbalance in the church perpetually crying out endlessly for mercy, the Lord is held back too often from answering in the way that He would like to respond. So He invites some into this place that they might override the prayers of ignorance, that He might be given access to enter into situations speedily in answering according to His heart's desire.
And do not forget how Jesus supported continually the paying of our taxes. Not that He desires nations to be made fat and devourers of other nations, but that His ministers of justice in the earth be adequately funded and supplied with resources to amply fulfill the ministry that He has commissioned them to fulfill. As is written in Romans 13:6, “For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing.” Or are we so unaware of what scripture has to say that we only believe God calls the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers of His word ministers?
We need to recalibrate our hearts to His heart, and understand that these war rooms are sticking our toes into the places of rulership that He ultimately intends for the mature to go. So hear now what the Lord would say to us of this:
“I am calling for many to walk with Me in the fire of My glory, and I am looking for those who have the courage to see Me in the fullness of the various expressions of My heart. For there is so much more of who I am that I long to reveal to those who draw closer to Me by My Spirit and according to what is truth. For many waves of revelation have come and gone by, and many have taken for granted the distance that the church has attained in its knowledge of what is contained in My word. But I am seeking that all the previous revelation that has been obtained would once again center around Me. And the reformation of My church that is needed is a call to returning all things back to the place of intimacy with Me. For this is the reason that mankind was created, that we might know one another and that we might live in union with each other. Yet many view life with God as something to live for, rather than the One whom they live their entire lives with.
So now will I begin to show My character and personality more fully to the meek, for it is to them that I will reveal Myself to in greater measure. For it is time that men see Me more fully as I am, rather than for who it is that they think Me to be. And the entrance into the war room is only one expression of My heart's desire towards humanity.
So draw near to Me and I will anoint you to see Me with a clarity and understanding in which I have yet to be seen. And My holy fire will burn off of you anything that is not truly of Me as you wade into the greater depths of My glory in pursuit of Me.” Says Jesus Christ the Head of the Church.
Mark 4:9,12 AMPC
And He said, He who has ears to hear, let him be hearing [and let him consider, and comprehend]. And as soon as He was alone, those who were around Him, with the Twelve [apostles], began to ask Him about the parables. And He said to them, To you has been entrusted the mystery of the kingdom of God [that is, the secret counsels of God which are hidden from the ungodly]; but for those outside [of our circle] everything becomes a parable, in order that they may [indeed] look and look but not see and perceive, and may hear and hear but not grasp and comprehend, lest haply they should turn again, and it [their willful rejection of the truth] should be forgiven them.
Mark 4:9,12 TPT
“If you understand this, then you need to respond.” Afterward, Jesus’ disciples and those close to him remained behind to ask Jesus about his parables. He said to them, “The privilege of intimately knowing the mystery of God’s kingdom realm has been granted to you, but not to the others, where everything is revealed in parables. For even when they see what I do, they will not understand, and when they hear what I say, they will learn nothing, otherwise they would repent and be forgiven.”
Matthew 5:8 TPT
“What bliss you experience when your heart is pure! For then your eyes will open to see more and more of God.”
